heya did you install this from the stuff the nvidia folks gave you as opposed to the "Debian Way"? the advantage to the debian provided method is that it does all this for you, or at least it did for me. iirc the two packages you want are: nvidia-glx-src nvidia-kernel-src and the directions are provided in /usr/share/doc/packagename (as well as provided by myself and various others on this mailing list in the past if you'd rather search the archives) hth sean
