     Thank you for your suggestion!

 

     However, I have forgotten to mention something. The actual path of install kernel from 2.4.18-bf24 to 2.4.23. After installing debian 3.0, the kernel version is 2.4.18-bf24, then I install kernel 2.4.22. After I have heard about the security problem in kernel 2.4.22, I install kernel 2.4.23 over 2.4.22. And the modules of 2.4.18-bf24 and 2.4.22 in /lib/modules are deleted.

 

     I think that the new kernel can overcome all the problems, but it is wrong.

 

     Then how about I install the kernel in Debian ways? Can I overcome the problem of cannot find the modules:xxxxx using this path?

 

     And just to mention : hk = hong kong!
