upgrading to woody?
firstly, thanks to those who helped me w/ configuring my intel isa-
bus ethernet nic.
secondly, the machine in question is running kernel 2.2.20-idepci.
i don't really recall when it was installed as the machine has been
a doorstop in my office for close to a year now. i tried to apt-get
some packages but was prompted to install a woody binary cd into
/cdrom. i guess it is time for me to upgrade. i have never upgraded
like this in the past ... last really old machine had potato on it
and the drive crashed so i just did a new install of woody.
can anyone provide a good howto link? i googled for a while this
afternoon but haven't come up w/ anything useful to me.
