I wouldn't think so. If problems do arise, you can deal with them then. It may be just as difficult a problem as this one was, but you _were_ able to fix this one without rebuilding, and you _can_ fix the next one without rebuilding. That's the nature of *nix.
If your box seems to be running normally now, I'd think it's fine. But it's up to you if you want to rebuild "just to be sure". When coming from the Windows world, that's a normal reaction/thought process.
