I use a dual Intel eepro (82557) card in my gateway box, and it has been
working reliably for two years now using the eepro100 driver. I got it
from a decommissioned server from work so it was free for me, but I just
checked and it's $186 so probably not your best price, sorry. Ahh, but
here we go, it's on ebay for $20
