No kidding.  Especially considering if they stopped hiring so many
Californians instead opting for Oregonians out in Hillsboro, they'll
find a ready, willing and able workforce that *isn't* a product of
California's incompetant education system, and is able to enjoy a
higher standard of living in a much more reasonable price range.
Bonus points:  Oregon's vaguely Canadian accent is easier for
Americans to understand than a clipped British accent.

What really gets me is where do they think Americans are going to get
the money for spendy tech gadgets if they don't have decent incomes?
It's like they were taught economics by the Underpants Gnomes or
something.

1. Ship all the jobs to developing countries that can't (as easily)
   afford their products.
