Actually, I think it is a matter of trust for official packages as well,
although one can argue that it is easier to trust official stuff.
In the same line of reasoning one could argue that the only person one
should
really trust is oneself. But hey, I don't even trust myself
occasionally!
Related question, are the Blackdown Java-debs official? Or perhaps
semi-official?
