mostly it means ...

a. find out where the nearest linux users group is in town
   and go to it regularly till you're "tired of the topic"
	http://www.linux.org/groups/
	http://www.ssc.com:8080/glue/groups

b.  when there is an installfest or other "linux install activities",
    than go to those events and say "what does this mean" when its on
    the screen ..

c.  or you can post the "command you typed" to get the error
   messages you're referring to
