XFS problem - kernel 2.6.0-test3

Anyone using XFS on the root filesystem with kernel 2.6.0-test3?  I
compiled the kernel with XFS support (not as a module), and it fails to
boot.  I receive messages saying that fs type "302" is not recognized and
failed to mount root filesystem.  A few lines up, the XFS support
informational messages are displayed, so I know XFS is compiled into the
kernel...

What could be wrong?  I've been using SGI's XFS kernel patches with 2.4.x
kernels with no problems...
