Strange problem. Whenever I use XMMS or Freeamp, the first song I open will lock up the program for about 10 minutes, then work fine. nothing else locks up, and after that any other song opened will play immediately as long as the program is not closed. running woody, KDE, AtalonXP +1300, 512 meg of ram, nVidia 3 Ti 200 128meg ddr.
