Sorry, I am not aware of a dpkg or apt-get option that enables this. 
Also, I must admit that I haven't read all the documentation about dpkg
or apt-get.

Such a feature would be very usefull.  Having a tool that generates
report based on those logs would also be usefull.

Let me noe if you find anything.
