Hello,A while ago I read about speeding up linux by re-compiling libc & the XF86 to take advantages of the installed processor. In my case a 700MHz PIII.
Would there be much of a speed increase, enough to warrent doing it ?It also strikes me as potentialy dangerous to my systems health, any comments ?
