I have this running on a server here at work. They seem to be common on
Dell motherboards. I'm using the 3c59x driver compiled into the module too.
If you do have dhclient installed, I would check your
/etc/network/interfaces file to see if the card is configured to get an IP
address through DHCP. It should look something like this:
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
I have mine set up on a static IP. I think I had it running with DHCP
before I gave it the static address, but I can't remember. :-)
If that isn't the problem, let me know and I'll see if I can figure out what
I originally did.
