How are you trying to log in?

For my Netgear box, I type "http://192.168.0.1"; in my browser address
window, and I get a popup box asking me for a username and password to log
in.

The username is "admin"; I don't remember what the default password is.

If this doesn't work, try resetting the box to its defaults (look in the
instructions to see how). Then you should be able to log in (and be sure to
change that default password!)
