If I'm understanding you correctly, you want to know how to make mutt
reply to the list, instead of replying to the user who posted the
message?
The way I do this is to put lines like these in my .muttrc
lists debian-
subscribe debian-
That will (in a rather general way) mark debian mailing lists (and
possibly other things by mistake) as mailing lists... then, you can use
list-reply (L instead of r) to reply to messages on the list.
If you want to be more specific in the lists and subscribe lines, you
can use the full address of the list:
lists debian-user@lists.debian.org
subscribe debian-user@lists.debian.org
