ethernet uses wires 1,2,3, & 6 so what you want to do is take the unused
wires from your cable (4,5,7, & 8) and put them into the 1,2,3 & 6
locations on an rj45 connector. Do this on both ends of the cable and
you're all set. It's pretty simple really.
