Nat / masq -- only 1 eth, can I use alias?

Hello, I had this problem. I only use 1 ethernet card. Can I use this?

iptables --table nat --append POSTROUTING --out-interface eth0:0 -j
MASQUERADE

Iptables said, it wont use alias. Is there a fix here?
