boot sector and it's backup

I don't know what I did for this to result but when I turned on the computer tried to boot into debian (kernel 2.4.20) it loaded a bit then it said:

There are differences between boot sector and it's backup.
Differences: (offset: original/backup)
71:57/4c, 72:49/4f, 73:4e/43, 74:4d/41, 75:45/4c, 76:31/20, 77:35/44, 78:47/49, 79:42/53, 80:20/4b
Not automatically fixing this.

Then while I wrote this down, to my surprise it started loading again! When it loaded I ran lilo thinking this might fix my problem, but it didn't.
Can anyone help me fix this?

Thank you for your replies,

Zim
