Re: Trouble with eth0

First u need to make sure your kernel has the right

How can I do that?

Secondly, you need to make sure
/etc/network/interfaces is setup correctly.

I suppose the man entry will help.

 Thirdly
if you use dhcp to connect to your isp, then you need
to make sure either pump or dhcpcd is installed for it
to work.

That I know is not installed: I thought I had to have a working eth interface first.

Thnks,

Piero.

hopefully that will get you on the right path

detected.
Has anyboy got an idea?

Should eth0 be in /dev ?
Thanks,
