Just telnet into your POP3 server and delete (or retrieve) them
manually.  Fetchmail is working normally, the problem is that there is a
syntax error in the mail's headers that $MTA is complaining about.  Most
of the time, when I get that message, it is spam with the received
header and contents immediately preceeded by "Return-Path".

If you want to know which RFCs to read, try 1913, 2821, and 2822.
