X server (4.3) complains thai it cannot open framebuffers: WW: open /dev/fb? No such device (the message is repeated apropos /dev/fb1 ... /dev/fb7) Then this gives an error EE: RADEON(0): Failed to open framebuffer device /dev/fb1 - /dev/fb7 exist; is it possible that it is a permission problem? Do you know what a framebuffer is, and whether it is essential? Thanks, Piero
