Wrong definition of free. Think liberty rather than price.  non-free
means it does not conform to the Debian Free Software Guidelines and
are not part of the Debian distribution (though the servers have debs
for many non-free packages when the licenses allow as a convienence).

Realplayer is binary only and prohibits redistribution.  Go get the
realplayer package, and it'll tell you what you need to do to get
realplayer going.

Realplayer sucks to install, and sucks to use.  An easier and more
worthwhile endeavor would be to go pester whoever is using realplayer
format to switch to an open standard.
