KPilot and the mail conduit

I'm using KPilot 4.3.9 from unstable to sync my Palm m130 via USB.  All of
the conduits work as expected, except for the "POP Mail Conduit".  I have it
configured to use Sendmail as the send method, the path to the sendmail
command is correct, and my outgoing email address is correct.  However,
during the sync, the conduit seems to not do anything at all - no error
message, no warnings, nothing.  Mail just stay's in my Palm's outgoing
mailbox.

Has anyone else made this work?
