Well, BE does have the ability to backup arbitrary user-defined shares,
so you can certainly backup the data you are sharing via Samba.
But without BE Agent support for Linux (A frustration of mine) you won't
be able to backup the Samba Server. You could samba share the whole
filesystem, but you wouldn't get the file permissions, symbolic links,
or special filesystems backed up right . .. .
