Assuming you want the extended partition to take up the rest of the drive,
highlight the free space and choose New. It will assume you want to use all
the free space, so press enter.
Then go to Type, and choose 05. That makes the extended partition.
>From there you should be able to create logical partitions within the
extended partition.
