I used console-apt about two years ago, but it's not in Debian now; neither
is deity or deity-ncurses.

Perhaps it was inaccurate to say that console-apt is now called aptitude.

How about, "Console-apt was succeeded by aptitude, which is also a front end
for dpkg and easier to use than dselect"?
