USB mouse problems
I've got a new laptop I'm trying to install Debian testing on. It will be
used in a dock a great deal of the time. It's got a built in PS/2 mouse
workalike, and a USB port for an external mouse.
I've booted Knoppix on it, and runing like thta, I can use the USB mouse in
X. I've copied over the Xf86 config created by Knoppix, but I can't use the
USB mouse whn I boot from the Debian instance. I've rebuilt a new 2.4.20
kernel using the config file from Koppix.

I've als installed hotplug, but it does nto seem to be working. here is
what I get when I run it manualy:
