OT: the List system
The experience I've had since beginning to participate in the List
(debian-user@lists.debian.org) has left me wondering about something.
Today I am seeing a delay of more than 10 hours and many messages I've
posted haven't shown up yet (and before somebody asks, I can assure you
that my mail server sends each message out immediately -- there's no
batching going on and no delayed delivery, the server is on a
continually connected machine).
Ordinarily I see delays of at least 5 hours. So, I am wondering if there
is something that can satisfy my curiosity, about why this list (among
all the lists I have ever subscribed to) is SO slow.
