g++ version mismatch. On the machine where it fails, mozilla and the
java plugin were compiled with different versions of g++ resulting in
incompatible binaries. I saw this when I upgraded mozilla. Get a new
java plugin. For convenience you can grab the copy I'm using

Oh, and that plugin object is for jre 1.4, not 1.3.
