phoenix "suddenly" broke

I was opening up a web page (right click open frame in new window) when
fluxbox suddenly restarted. I assumed it was a problem with phoenix so I
tried moving the .phoenix file in my home directory but that didn't help.
I tried removing and then reinstalling phoenix but I'm getting errors about
things being locked by other processes....

Anyone have any ideas on how I can get phoenix back?

thanks!

Here's the error messaages I'm getting:

(there's also stuff in the /var/log/messages pasted below)

You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:
