If you want / to be a RAID0 filesystem, you'll prbably have to set up
a small /boot filesystem (could be RAID1, AFAIK lilo can't boot from
RAID0) and load a kernel with RAID0 compiled in, or use an initrd
which has the appropriate RAID modules. Compiled in is better because
then autodetect works.
Did you google? There are a gazillion HOWTOs on this topic.
FWIW, I would not put my root (or any other critical filesystem) on
RAID0 ... what are you going to do if a disk fails? With RAID0 the
likelihood of disk failure is twice that of a system with a single
disk. Do RAID1 or buy a third disk and do RAID5, or buy a fourth disk
and do RAID10 :-)
