Have you checked the Bug Tracking System?  http://bugs.debian.org/.
http://bugs.debian.org/packagename is a shortcut to the bug page for a
particular package.  If no one else has filed one, you should do so,
using the 'reportbug' command.

I guess it's out of date.  It should apparently be absolutely in sync
with what's on the mirrors, though, so you should file a bug on it's
pseudo-package (packages.debian.org, IIRC).
