Well, you have two ethernet interfaces. One has an IP address (eth1)
the other does not. You need to figure out which one is the wireless
card (My guess: eth0). The reason you can reach the "Internet" is
because eth1 is set up correctly, and your routing table indicates to
use it for outbound traffic.
I hope that explains your original question about why you see DHCP
fail but are still are able to access the outside world.
I suspect your wireless card does not have it's ESSID/encryption key
set??
