I have other unofficial and pre-release debs on my system, but messing
around with apt and friends makes me a bit gun shy. Do these have to
potential to hose my system in bad ways? What should I back-up before
installing these. I mean aptitude isnt that important to me, but I
would like to see it in action sometime as I have never used it, but I
have heard good things about it. BTW, I do know enough about Debian
that I would call myself a intermediate user if it has any bering on
your recomendation. Thanks.
