Postgres debug logging

I'm running Woody and Postgresql.

These lines appear in my /var/log/debug

Apr  7 04:00:02 debian postgres[3566]: [1] DEBUG:  connection: host=[local] 
user=postgres database=aviation

It seems to me that I should be able to turn this off somewhere in the 
posrgresql configuration but can not find where.

Ant pointers please.
