If > so, what is it? And WHY??? Right-click on the picture that you are working on. You should see a bunch of menus come up. One of those menus is a File menu; that File menu has "Save" and "Save As". My guess as to the reasoning behind there being no Save item on the main File menu is that you can have more than one file open and active.
