AC97 Codec and Surround Sound

Goodday

I bought a Gigabyte 7vac motherboard with a AC97 sound codec with the
alc650 realtek chipset. I have a Pioneer 5.1 Prologic amp(VSX series). I
have installed the the motherboard with front audio, thus leaving the
three inputs at the back for surround sound. I have doubled check the
settings with windows and it seems to work. I installed the alsa drivers
from realteks site and sound works great. I can change my surround
speakers volumes and it functions great. The problem is my center
speaker. I'm not sure if the sound is not send to that line-out, or if
it is not functioning properly. Can anyone give me pointers on how I can
test the center speaker or how I can enable it to play my music partly
through it

Regards
Tinus
