Ah hah! This is why there are 2.2.20 patches, but no source.
Presumably they are against the vanilla kernel. Any way, I grabbed the
2.2.20 source from testing and built a custom kernel that's half the
size.  (On a 512MB desktop, no biggie.  On my 20MB laptop, this
matters.)
