Nagios: problem with displaying logos on status map

Hi list,

I have a problem with displaying logos on the status map cgi.

package is nagios-mysql 2:1.0-6.
mysql database is correctly configured and the xeddb entries in cgi.cfg are
set.
I downloaded the logos from the nagios website and when I open them directly
in the webbrowser, it looks ok. (/nagios/images/logos/base/router40.png).
I tried the entry in the database to be ./base/router40.png and
base/router40.png and the equivalent gd2 versions.
I also tried to set the entries the old style in cgi.cfg directly and
uncommented the xeddb entries. I still get only the question mark displayed
(unknown.gd2). Even if I copy the images in the main logos subdirectory
(without the base subdirectory), so that they are in the same directory
with the unknown.gd2, the result is the same.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Any hints?

Cheers
Arne
