hmm....the power of advertising.
in my shop (which is a lawfirm),
the people don't care to know
about computers, other than as
a tool for doing their work.
most were weaned on m*$* so
they've become myopic (or have
become a victim of inertia)
when it comes to better, more
efficient (open-source) ap-
proaches.
basically, m*$* is all they've
ever heard of. (this will
change; but it'll take some
time as bad habits are hard
to break.)
