A few very simple Evolution questions...

Hi all, 


When I start-up Evolution from the console, it gives message that locale
is not supported by C library. Is this important? 

Also, I noticed that when I am typing up an email (like now for
example), the font is very small and I cannot increase its size by using
Ctrl-+. I can however increase the size of the font for reading on
emails in my inbox. 


OK I know I can change default font sizes etc, etc. But it would be nice
to just increase font size. 

There is a pop-down menu on the left hand size as I am writing this
where I would be able to increase the font size but for some reason it
is disabled. Maybe I am missing a non-essential library?

Any way I can get this font-increase thing happening?
