Well, only if it gets it right.  I get messages from spamcop on a
regular basis complaining that I'm running an open relay, when in fact
what is happening is that a user has a .forward and the mail server is
forwarding his mail exactly as he asked.

No, you're not wasting your time; don't think that way.  It's
unfortunate that most ISPs don't (can't) tell you when they shut down
spammers.  The few times they do, though, can make it all worth it.
It's a good feeling knowing that you got a spammer booted from yet
another ISP.

Well, you can let them know that you're blocking mail from their entire
netblock...  It's a bit drastic, and unless you run a really big site
they probably won't care.  But even if you're a small site, if enough
small sites block them they'll notice.  Though it would be nice if yahoo
or hotmail could be convinced to block them.  Verio is another repeat
offender who is often blocked outright.
