Try /usr/share/doc/kernel-package/README.gz
Generally speaking, you can find any documentation you're looking for
by checking /usr/share/doc/{package-name} or /usr/doc/{package-name},
or man {manual-page}.
man 7 undocumented will give you some extra info on how to find
documentation.
