galeon: infinite instances; mozilla: won't even start

Hi,

On a fresh install of Woody, galeon worked once, but now just starts firing up new windows
about 1/sec. Mozilla won't even start at all. I've tried ditching
.galeon and starting over, to no avail. Any ideas what I might try?
