Hi all, Thanks to all who have replied to my post regarding CMI 9738 chipset audio driver. CMI9738 at least in my case was somewhat misleading as I later found as on my board there is SiS 7012 audio accelerator. Driver that is actually needed was i810_audio.o driver (I found sndconfig package to be of great help). Now I can finally enjoy my collection of mp3s :-) Take care, Davor
