Tried my level best.... and i dont have any > ideas left .... any one out there has any suggestions????? > By the way has anyone been able to get some sound out of the sound > card under linux ????? did you by any chance compile support for your southbridge as a module? you shouldn't compile anything needed for booting as a module as a general rule of thumb. also, are you sure you're using your old config as a starting point? i recommend taking an old copy of your config and loading that up in whatever make *config you use before configuring anything else hth sean
