seems fine so far, but i don't use multi/virtual desktops - i find it hard to keep things in my head...
no real issues apart from the initial setup (the soln seems to be login/out acouple of times...)
my q was whether e could be forced to allow the gnome taskbar to take up the top of the screen, apple-style.
found a better way anyhoo - make a new panel, make it tiny, and set it to 'on top'.
