The fact that pterm is purely a terminal emulator, not something with
built-in ssh. If PuTTY itself gets ported it'll probably be because the
author feels like it. *shrug*

Also, some people are dissatisfied with OpenSSH in many ways, not least
prompted by the mess that was 3.3 ...

pterm is faster than most of the above, for one thing; 'ls -l /dev'
takes 9.5 seconds to scroll in an xterm here, but a third of a second in
a pterm. That alone was enough to get me away from xterm. Nor does it
have the cruft associated with things like eterm and konsole. But hey,
if you don't like it you don't have to use it. :)
