I'm setting up a car computer that will be shut down by powering off, and need to keep fsck from running at reboot. I tried doing a remount-ro, but now it spits out lots of errors and doesn't even get to a login prompt. I need to be able to write to the /tmp partition though. How can I do this? Thanks, Jason
