2 questions

Hi,

I installed woody on my pc. I have 2 questions:
1. PATH: I tried to add some directories to PATH, and I change
   /etc/profile and login.def, but $PATH doesn't change.
   ( I add $PATH="$PATH:/new_dir" in /etc/profile and login.def)

2. How to add shutdown and reboot to logout menu?
